Mystery Authors
Luncheon
  1. Solicit donations for the silent auction.  You can help by mailing or visiting businesses to solicit items. 
  2. Volunteer for the committee that will meet shortly with the new events coordinator hired by Mary Robson, NAMI Arizona's new Executive Director.
  3. Volunteer for set-up and day of jobs.
  4. Buy a luncheon  ticket.
  5. Solicit a sponsor.
  6. Sell raffle tickets (we need an item or two to raffle so if you can solicit one let us know).
Drivers We need drivers to transport presenters to our Peer Programs.
Speakers We provide Speaker Bureau Training and opportunities to speak as an advocate for mental health. 
Support Group Co-facilitator Training provided to help run our support groups.
Outreach Write letters to community agencies and newspapers to further understanding. Help distribute teh NAMI publication: Parents and Teachers as Allies.
Education Class Co-facilitator Training provided to help teach our education classes.
Committee Member We have seven committees that can always use your help and ideas:
  1. Programs and Education (Provides services to our community)
  2. Advocacy (Contact elected officials and agencies as an advocate for mental health).
  3. NAMI Walks (Our premier event for raising awareness and funds).
  4. Volunteers (Helping others who want to help).
  5. Public Relations (This web site and our bi-monthly newsletter).
  6. Bylaws and Resolutions (Help form our policies and initiatives).
  7. Executive Committee (Leadership of NAMI Phoenix).
Education Committee Coordinator Help to organize our educational programs.
Board of Directors Help support and guide our Executive Committee.
Writers Contribute to our bi-monthly newsletter, Caring and Sharing, by submitting articles of local and national interest.
